When planning (events, conferences, gatherings, your life) there are things that don’t necessarily have a strict out s software. These are things that the entire team should be thinking about, and isn’t necessarily labor for a specific set of people. Delegation may be tricky. Consists of higher level, strategy based/storytelling based things. More oriented on the grander vision.

Hardware is tangible action items and tasks. Includes tasks like creating a website, outreach, etc.
